Rarely do we have the ability to give back to our public servants that risk so much on our behalf. Please join us on a memorial ride to help support Michael’s son Shane on March 21. The ride will depart RJ’s Restaurant and Sports Pub (12473 Jefferson Avenue) about 1 p.m., travel the Colonial Parkway and Rt. 199 to the Polo Club (1303 Jamestown Road) in Williamsburg, and back to RJ’s for entertainment and raffles. There is no entry fee. Donations from the heart will be accepted. Ride pace and grouping is up to each individual. The Blue Knights of Virginia Chapter XVIII (the Franklin County Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club) is sponsoring Free Wheelin’ for the Free Clinic, a new poker run.

The event will be held Saturday, April 24. Cost per rider is $10 and cars are welcome.

Proceeds will be donated to help the Free Clinic of Franklin County rev up its building fund campaign.
