I have not posted any geek stuff in awhile. I know I have been pretty slack on posting stuff period. Things have been busy - which is a GREAT thing! Thanks to all of you who stop by and buy our stickers we are the best and fastest growing biker helmet sticker site on the ‘net!
Ok so now on to the geek stuff. The other night (July 19, 2008) I was out with the scope checking out Jupiter. The humidity was high so I was not able to get a great focus, but I was able to see 4 of Jupiter’s moons clearly and I was also able to pick out 2 dark bands on the gas planet itself.
I am still practicing with the CCD camera on the scope but I think these came out pretty decent (Especially as bad as the air quality was the night I took them).
