The Husband and wife are sitting quietly in bed reading when the
wife looks over at him and asks the question.
WIFE: “What would you do if I died? Would you get married again?”
HUSBAND: “Definitely not!”
WIFE: “Why not? Don’t you like being married?”
HUSBAND: “Of course I do.”
WIFE: “Then why wouldn’t you remarry?”
HUSBAND: “Okay, okay, I’d get married again.”
WIFE: “You would?” (with a hurt look)
HUSBAND: (makes audible groan)
WIFE: “Would you live in our house?”
HUSBAND: “Sure, it’s a great house.”
WIFE: “Would you sleep with her in our bed?”
HUSBAND: “Where else would we sleep?”
WIFE: “Would you let her drive my car?”
HUSBAND: “Probably, it is almost new.”
WIFE: “Would you replace my pictures with hers?”
HUSBAND: “That would seem like the proper thing to do.”
WIFE: “Would you give her my jewelry?”
HUSBAND: “No, I’m sure she’d want her own.”
WIFE: “Would you take her golfing with you?
HUSBAND: “Yes, those are always good times.”
WIFE: “Would she use my clubs?
HUSBAND: “No, she’s left-handed.”
WIFE: — (silence) –
HUSBAND: ?”…shit.”

FIRST SOME NEWS
Spent the morning in our state Capitol, Richmond, at a committee hearing on 2 motorcycle related bills that are before the VA General Assembly - HB2585 which would allow adult motorcycle riders the freedom to choose to wear a helmet or not on Virginia roads designated as Scenic Byways and HB3077 which would make the fine for a helmet citation a $25 civil fine (just like failure to wear a seat belt) instead of a traffic violation. BOTH BILLS MADE IT OUT OF COMMITTEE! The bills will now go to the House floor.

Friday Eye Candy - VA Helmet Law and a Hot Blonde Chopper Babe
I haven’t posted any pictures of any custom bikes in awhile. Not sure why, guess things have just been a kind of busy. So here are a couple of great looking custom bobber style sleds.
First an old ‘74 Ironhead Sportster that has been chopped and bobbed. Looks right nice. I dig the clutch and shift setup.
I had an old 72 Sporty. Really liked that bike, wish I still had it but someone liked it better and well now it is gone. One day I’ll put together another Sportster project.
Here is a nice looking build with a 100″ RevTech.
I really like open primary setups. I have this same BDL belt driveon my scoot. Nice looking bike. Of course I am all about the apes. Think I would have come up with a different mirror though. Such a cool looking scoot to have that big ass square mirror way up in the air. Other than that nice.

A ten-year-old boy was walking down the street when a big man on a black motorcycle pulls up behind him and asks, “Hey kid, wanna go for a ride?”
“No!”, said the boy, and he kept on walking.
The motorcyclist pulls up to him again and says,
“Hey kid, I’ll give you $10 if you hop on the back.
“NO!” said the boy and proceeded down the street a little quicker.
The motorcyclist pulls up to the boy again and says, “OK kid, I’ll give you $20 and a BIG bag of candy if you hop on the back for a ride.”
At this point the boy turns around to him and screams angrily,
“Look Dad, YOU bought the Honda, so you ride it!”

A woman and her husband were riding their Harley Electra Glide on vacation, but had to interrupt their trip to go to the dentist.
“I want a tooth pulled and I don’t want to waste any time with any pain killers because we’re in a big hurry,” the woman said. “Just extract the tooth as quickly as possible and we’ll be on our way.”
The dentist was quite impressed. “You’re certainly a courageous woman,” he said. “Which tooth is it?”
The woman turned to her husband and said, “Show him your tooth, dear.”

Heard that Billy Lane has closed his retail shop in Melborne, FL - Chopper Disneyland as he called it in the past is now closed to the public. From what the Choppers, Inc site says it will only be open for major motorcycle events and races and those dates/times will be announced 30 days in advance. Mike has a bit more about it on his blog here. The online store at Choppers, Inc. is suppose to remain open but I don’t know much more than what I have read over at Mike’s blog.
Billy’s will probably be back in the news in a week or so, his case will be going to court soon, I think on February 2nd if I remember right.
Anyway that’s that for now.
