We are headed down to Salisbury, NC for The Horse Back Street Choppers’ Smoke Out on Friday morning. All orders placed after 10 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007 will ship when we return on Sunday, June 24, 2007.
The Smoke Out is a great ol’ school biker party and if you are into cool scoots, great people, cold beer, and hot babes this is one party you don’t want to miss.

Somewhere along the way our stickers got picked up by a new shopping search engine called TheFind.com.
TheFind.com has a goal to find every product for sale online and make it easy for you to search for products on their site.
I think that it is pretty cool that their crawler picked up our biker helmet stickers to be included in their index.

Yesterday we received a shipment of biker helmet stickers from our supplier so our inventory has been updated and we now have all of our helmet stickers IN STOCK!
We are still waiting on a shipment of Lethal Threat Decals but they should be here in the next day or 2.
There are several new biker stickers we will be adding in the next day or so and we have even more new designs on the way. Look for a post tomorrow afternoon with our newest stickers!
Also there have been a couple of folks that have submitted some pictures of their helmets with our stickers on them to the gallery, so stop by and check them out. If you have stickers on your helmet (or on your bike, toolbox, where ever) we would love to see them. Just upload them to the gallery.

Well things have been busy around here and we are trying to get all of our inventory ready for summer. We still have a few stickers out of stock but they should be in soon.
Here are a few of the new stickers we just added.
All of the Lethal Threat stickers should be back in stock middle of next week.
Hope you are able to get out and enjoy the warm weather a bit. Sandy and I have been trying to get some road time in also, it has been great. We are really enjoying the new bike.
If you are headed to Laconia next week have a great time and enjoy it. We have never been to Laconia Bike Week. Road through there one year on the way to Maine but did not get a chance to stop in. Maybe one year soon we will have a chance to stop in there. If you do make it to Laconia be sure to check out the Greasebag Show and Swap, looks like it is going to be a good old school swap meet.

and things are all caught up. All orders that were placed while we were away have been processed and the stickers are on the way.
We had a great time, but it is good to be back home. Right now we have a few stickers that the inventory is pretty low on but we should have the stock back up in the next week. We also have a few new stickers that will be posted this week.
Thanks for hanging in there with us, the vacation was much needed.
We are having a problem with our reverse DNS since we moved our servers. This means that some email servers are rejecting mail from ChopperStickers.com since it cannot verify the IP address. We are working to get this fixed and should have the problem corrected sometime today.

Well it was a long weekend, but the ChopperStickers.com server has been moved to the new data center successfully. It took a little longer than expected and the server was down for about 3 hours on Saturday. The new data center is very nice - dual power grids, very fast Internet connection, nice clean facility. I am still having some problems with reverse DNS lookups so some of my mail may be getting rejected by servers that check this sort of thing, I hope to have this resolved later this afternoon.
As far as the server goes, everything was back up and running at 100% late Saturday evening with only a few DNS servers around the ‘net that had not updated to the new ip addresses, by Sunday afternoon all the DNS queries were responding with our new IPs and all was well.
Today is going to be a busy day also, checking and rechecking things so Monday’s Joke will be a little late. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
Don’t forget we are headed out for vacation on May 19, 2007 and we will be out until May 25, 2007. ChopperStickers.com will remain open but orders placed after about 10 PM, May 18, 2007 will not be processed until we return on the 25th.

I got a call from the company where my web server is located. They are moving - tomorrow! I have to move my server to the new facility. I wish I had a little more notice but it should not be that big of a deal and I hope the site will only be down for a couple of hours.
I have already been issued my new IP addresses and I have registered the new nameserver host addresses.
Early tomorrow morning (Saturday, May 12, 2007) I will be TEMPORARILY closing the ChopperStickers.com store to prepare for the move. I hope to have the server moved to the new location and back operational by lunch time.
I will keep you updated on the status.
