90 mile ride with 3 stops.

Registration from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM
First bike out at 9:30 AM
$20 per bike/$10 for rider

All proceeds go to Southside Rescue Squad to help outfit the Water Rescue Boat serving Lake Gaston and Kerr Lake.

Leave Yorktown along Route 17 to Tim’s II Restaurant & Crabhouse at Fairview Beach in King George County on the Potomac River (5411 Pavilion Drive, King George, VA 22485).
1:30pm
Arrive at Tim’s II Restaurant & Crabhouse for carousing, plundering, grub and grog in Joe’s honor (Dutch Treat).

Joshua Blake Smith was six years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October of 2009. He is currently undergoing a demanding treatment process. Joshua has always touched the hearts of those who
encounter him. His big brown beautiful eyes show his kind and gentle spirit. Joshua enjoys reading, music, and spending time with his friends and family. Though this has been a long journey, Joshua remains positive and knows that God is always with him. He is now a courageous seven year old who is fighting cancer one day at a time. He is our superhero! Please keep him in your prayers!

Any donations made are greatly appreciated, no donation is too small every little bit counts! All proceeds will go to Joshua’s care!

The Desert Knights MC will be hosting a poker run to the local Hooters Restaurants on July 17, 2010. The run will start at Fairfax Hooters at 10334 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax VA, 22030. Registration starts at 10:00; Wheels up at 11:00. $15 per hand, and proceeds are to benefit the Fisher House.

The 2010 poker run for the children of Civitan.
In memory of “John Big Boy Denning”
When: Saturday July 31 2010
Fee:$15.00 per rider $10.00 per passenger
Registration starts 9:00 a.m. 1st bike out at 11:00 a.m.

Lunch will be served hamburger and hot dogs, with all the fixings. Live music performed by: The Reform School Drop Outs. 50/50 Raffle, door prizes and best looking bike competition (To be judged by the children of Civitan).

This event is open to all vehicles, if you ride it, drive it or fly it come on out and help the children of Civitan and help make a difference in a child’s life today. The route will take us from Bayside Harley to the Camp Civitan Park.
