Hey, I'd even let you cook at my camp site. Actually, the rally is so huge that it takes up all of the surrounding cities. Some residents make enough money for the year in just one short week. In the old town of Deadwood, you can get some really great steaks...beware to get there early in the week before they run out. As for the craziness...stay away from the Buffallo Chip and you should be fine. This year, we are going to stay @ http://wyattshideaway.com/ for some R&R. Yes,Sturgis even caters to us laidback bikers. I went for the first time last year thinking that I would "endure it" for my husband. It is beautiful and not the hustle and bustly that I had expected. Everyone was nice. A road trip well worth the ride. It is actually called the (66th) Annual Black Hills Motorcycle Rally (Aug.7th-13th). I'll be ridin' on the back from Ft.Worth, no trailering here.
